About SOAF
FROM SHARED SERVICE
TO SHARED ADVENTURE.
The Special Operations Adventure Foundation is a veteran-founded nonprofit serving retired U.S. Special Operations Forces veterans.
SOAF creates outdoor adventure experiences that bring veterans back together through shared challenge, camaraderie, and connection — rebuilding some of the community and sense of purpose that can be difficult to replace after military service.
MISSION & PURPOSE
SERVICE ENDS.
CONNECTION SHOULDN’T.
Leaving Special Operations can mean leaving behind more than a career. The team, structure, shared purpose, and close relationships that shaped everyday life can suddenly be gone.
SOAF creates opportunities for veterans to reconnect through shared outdoor experiences — bringing challenge, camaraderie, and community back into their lives.

OUR STORY
CREATED FROM LIVED EXPERIENCE.
After retiring from military service, SOAF’s founders experienced firsthand the challenges of adapting to civilian life and how difficult it can be to find people who truly understand the life they had lived.
That experience inspired the creation of SOAF — an organization built to help other Special Operations veterans navigate that same transition through reconnection, shared challenge, and adventure. SOAF TRI-FOLD V1
