Special Operations Adventure Foundation’s Inaugural Dual Sport Adventure Ride
The Special Operations Adventure Foundation, in partnership with Grit Moto Adventures of Park City, Utah, proudly presents our inaugural Dual Sport Adventure Ride. Set in the rugged mountain terrain near Park City, this purpose-driven experience is designed exclusively for special operations warriors. This is an all-expenses-paid adventure for participating veterans, with dual sport motorcycles generously provided by Colorado Motorcycle Adventures, allowing riders to focus fully on the experience, camaraderie, and healing power of the outdoors. To make this mission possible, we rely on the support of our community—donations are greatly appreciated and go directly toward covering costs and ensuring these warriors are given the experience they deserve.

Special Operations Adventure Foundation at Appalachia 1000 – Dueling Banjos
The Special Operations Adventure Foundation is proud to participate in the Back Roads of Appalachia Foundation’s Appalachia 1000 – Dueling Banjos, a grueling 72-hour, 1,000-mile endurance rally winding through the rugged back roads of West Virginia and Kentucky. This iconic ride showcases the beauty, resilience, and untapped potential of Appalachia’s hills and hollers.
Our participation supports a dual mission: raising awareness to help bring motorized tourism back to the region while also shining a spotlight on the needs and resilience of special operations veterans. The Appalachia 1000 is more than an endurance challenge—it’s a catalyst for economic revival and community connection.
We’re honored that the Special Operations Adventure Foundation is a benefactor of the rally, with a portion of the event’s proceeds going directly toward our programs that use adventure, motorcycles, and the outdoors to support special operations warriors. Together, we ride to preserve back roads, strengthen communities, and continue serving those who have served us.
